Service Attendance Request Information
PLEASE read all of this information before submitting this request form.
We are so excited to worship with you on Sunday, however, we need everyone to understand that this will not be "Sunday as usual" for quite some time due to the Government's mandates and recommendations for our facility's safe operation. You also need to understand that filling out this request form does not guarentee you a spot on Sunday. We will contact everyone in the order we recieved each individual request.
Below is detailed information on what to expect as we move forward with in-person services. Please read these guidelines and understand them before submitting your request. If you have any questions, please email us before submitting. firstname.lastname@example.org
For the last few months we have been worshiping together online via various streaming services- Facebook, Youtube, and Vimeo. We will continue to offer our Sunday service on those platforms for the foreseeable future. We encourage you or your family members who don't yet feel comfortable to join together in person to continue to join us online.
Seniors and Immunocompromised Service:
For the last few weeks we have been offering our Seniors (60+) the opportunity to join us on Fridays for a special service in a safer setting. We will no longer meet on Fridays but we will continue to offer that service to our Seniors (60+) and our Immunocompromised members to attend on Wednesdays at 6:30pm as well. There is no need to reserve your spot for the Wednesday service, please feel free to just come. If you are 60+ or Immunocompromised, we ask that you please attend on Wednesday only so that we can free up as many spaces for others on Sunday morning.
At this time, we will not be able to offer any form of Kids Ministry at our facility. We will continue to offer online Kids Ministries services on their own Youtube Channel, YAG Kidz Church, for the foreseeable future as well as our online Family Night on Wednesdays via Zoom. We love our kids and we feel they are the most important part of our church family, however, we have to keep them and our staff safe. The mandates we are required to follow to hold Kids Ministry services are still far too intrusive to be possible. We eagerly await for the day that mandates loosen enough to allow for us to offer Kids Ministries services again. We invite families to worship together on Sundays at our in-person services, but you must understand that children will be required to be in the service with their parents at all times. There is no congregating allowed within the building or outside of the building, parking lot included. THE PLAYGROUND IS CLOSED. If your child becomes a distraction to you or others in the service, you will only be able to take them to your vehicle to wait it out- the foyer, nursery, classrooms, and playground will be unavailable to you at this time. This is not something we have decided but the mandates placed upon us. We have to be so careful to respect and obey every mandate and recommendation so that we can continue with in-person services. Please know that the moment we can lift any of these rules, we will happily do so. In the meantime, please understand our hearts and work with us on this less than ideal situation for families with young children.
What to Expect When Visiting Our Facility:
Masks- All visitors (over the age of 2) are asked to wear a mask when arriving and moving about the building. Once you are in your seats, you may remove your masks if you feel comfortable to do so. Please remember to replace your mask if you leave your seat for any reason. We need to be respectful to everyone's feelings on safety.
Hand Sanitizing- The building will be cleaned and sanitized appropriately before the start of each service. We have also added hand sanitizer stations throughout the buildings for your use. We hope to provide a touch-less experience wherever possible to help stop the spread of any illness. Please take advantage of the bathrooms and hand sanitizer stations to clean your hands.
Restrooms- Bathrooms will be open, PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASKS WHEN ENTERING as 6 feet social distancing may not be able to be kept once inside the bathrooms. Please do not congregate within the bathrooms. If the stalls are occupied, please form a line outside of the bathroom, keeping 6 feet distance. Please also feel welcome to use the restrooms near the back offices as well.
Water Fountains- At this time, water fountains will be closed and unavailable. You are welcome to bring a water bottle from home.
Seating- We have adjusted our sanctuary seating so that each seat grouping is socially distant from the next. Households are welcome to sit together in a row. Please do not sit with anyone not from your household. Please stay at your seats throughout the service. You cannot worship in the altar space or aisles, please stay at your seat at all times, unless leaving the sanctuary.
Offering Collection- You may leave your offering envelope at your seat to be picked up at the completion of service. You will not bring your offering forward.
Requests for Prayer- Since we cannot open up our altars for prayer, please connect with us through email so that we can meet those prayer needs for you. email@example.com
Service Expectations- Our Sunday service(s) will have Pastor Foster preaching live to the congregation. There will be not be a live worship service for the foreseeable future as we need to run the services with as few volunteers as possible to make room for every congregant that wants to attend to be able to do so. The worship team will continue to pre-record the worship services as they have been doing for the live stream. We will show the pre-recorded worship set for everyone to worship together with before Pastor Foster preaches.
Do Your Part
-Am I showing any flu-like symptoms?
-Have I had a fever of 100.4 or higher in the past 14 days?
-Have I had prolonged exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
-Is there any medical reason why a member of my family or I shouldn't be around others who could potentially have COVID-19?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, we strongly encourage you to attend services online from home this weekend.
We are re-opening our Corporate Prayer Meetings on Tuesdays at 7pm. There is no need to sign up for Tuesday night Corporate Prayer Meeting at this time. We will closely monitor the amount of attendees and begin pre-registration for Tuesday's prayer meeting if we reach 100 attendees. Please follow the same social distancing guidelines listed here when attending prayer meeting.
We hope to add more service times in the near future, as well as other Bible Study opportunities.
We thank you for your patience in the re-opening of our facility. This is a complex situation that none of our staff has ever experienced before. We are at the mercy of our Government Officials and the mandates and recommendations they give us. This is a constantly changing situation that we are continuously evaluating and adjusting as we can. Please know that from week-to-week things may change. Please be understanding and flexible with us throughout this process. We want to be back worshipping together just as much as you and our hope is that we can see that happen one day soon.
